After moving into our home I began to plan our new garden. Amongst the established Rhododendrons and Camelias was small Japanese maple. As the years passed this tiny tree grew and began to produce the most beautiful scarlet seed pods. I was inspired by the color and shape. Reminding me of tiny foot prints fallen on the garden floor.
